Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the President of the College, the Executive Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications is responsible for leading and managing the College's marketing and communication strategies to effectively reach internal and external audiences. This role exercises oversight of the website, intranet, social media, creative services, and close collaboration with the Office of Public Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing and communication efforts in alignment with the College's strategic goals.
  • Engage in various College committees to support and communicate high-level initiatives.
  • Oversee the directors of Marketing and Creative Services, Communications and Digital Content.
  • Create and manage integrated marketing campaigns utilizing both digital and print strategies. Track and report on campaign performance.
  • Supervise the production of college print and digital publications including the BHCC magazine and special reports.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the IMC departments, including media buys for campaigns.
  • Promote and provide recaps of college events through the BHCC online newsroom, website, and weekly newsletter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a higher education or related marketing and communications setting.
  • Proficiency in content management and customer relationship management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in community college marketing and communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.

  • Full state benefits.
  • Salary range: $155,000.00 - $160,000.00, commensurate with education and experience.
