About the Role

The Executive Director will lead the enterprise-wide development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of omnichannel measurement frameworks integrated with advanced GenAI-powered analytics capabilities. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing analytics strategies that unify data across healthcare professional (HCP), patient, and stakeholder audiences globally, providing a comprehensive and actionable view of customer engagement. Leveraging AI and GenAI technologies, the Executive Director will guide the development of predictive models, attribution methodologies, and real-time analytics solutions to optimize marketing effectiveness and support commercial objectives. Additionally, this role will lead the identification and development of innovative AI and GenAI use cases and capabilities that enhance analytics effectiveness and directly support omnichannel execution, contributing to sustained competitive advantage. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, this role ensures analytics initiatives align with brand and corporate goals, delivering measurable business impact and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise-level measurement frameworks for omnichannel marketing initiatives across HCP, patient, and stakeholder audiences globally, ensuring alignment with brand and corporate objectives.
  • Identify and articulate a global measurement roadmap, including AI and GenAI investments, resource planning, and budget allocation to develop and scale capabilities across markets, aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Provide thought leadership, education, and partnership to the business on the transformative potential of AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies to drive commercial strategies and decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the Omnichannel Excellence Team, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise goals while championing measurement excellence.
  • Translate complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insights that guide Therapeutic Area Leads and Brand Leads on optimal channel mix, sequencing, and timing, enhancing engagement and commercial impact across diverse markets.
  • Implement advanced measurement methodologies, including AI/GenAI-driven models such as advanced attribution, incrementality testing, and predictive modeling, to deepen understanding of marketing ROI and inform future engagement strategies globally.
  • Guide the development of data science-powered products and solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams, aligning to key priorities. Deliver responsible and impactful generative AI use cases using proprietary platforms to facilitate rapid innovation and capability development.
  • Develop and oversee dashboards and reporting frameworks to track omnichannel performance across brands, markets, and channels, ensuring clear visibility of key metrics for senior leadership, including the Commercial Leadership Team and Market Leads.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Insights, Technology teams, Global Leaders, and key external partners to ensure the right data architecture, tools, and GenAI-powered analytics capabilities are in place to support scalable omnichannel measurement needs.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders within Commercialization to drive adoption of omnichannel measurement capabilities, embedding the use of engagement data, AI, and GenAI into global planning and decision-making processes.
  • Effectively communicate insights and strategic recommendations to senior Therapeutic Area, brand, and commercialization leaders, influencing high-level investment decisions, omnichannel strategies, and enterprise priorities.
  • Build, lead, and inspire diverse, high-performing global teams across markets and functions to advance omnichannel measurement and insights, ensuring delivery of consistent, enterprise-level value.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of combined commercial/access/capability function experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industry.
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA and/or post-graduate degree preferred.
  • Understanding of the biopharmaceuticals industry in oncology, hematology, cardiovascular, immunology, neuroscience, and cell therapy in Worldwide and US Markets is preferred.
  • Ability to build alignment and drive performance across matrix teams through personal influence.
  • Knowledge of the Product Development and Commercialization Process.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to adapt in an agile way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to set and deliver in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment; critical thinking about issues and understanding context and challenges.
