About the Role

Stytch is the most powerful identity platform built for developers, bringing together authentication, authorization, and fraud into purpose-built APIs that provide the foundations for developers to scale rapidly. As an Experienced Frontend Engineer, you will work on the Web JavaScript SDKs to improve the integration experience for Stytch's customers and deliver excellent end user authentication experiences. This is a hybrid, full-time position based in the SF Bay Area, with in-person collaboration three days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Work on the Web JavaScript SDKs to enhance the integration experience for customers.
Improve existing systems to be reliable, performant, secure, and delightful for developers and end users.
Partner with other engineers to build the team roadmap and collaborate with product teams to prioritize and ship critical work to production.
Contribute to building new services and maintaining complex web applications or SDKs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer working with React and JavaScript or Typescript.
Experience developing and maintaining complex web applications or web SDKs.
Experience building developer tools.
Experience maintaining or contributing to open source projects.

Nice to Have

Experience with backend services using Go.
Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Github Actions, Flux, ArgoCD, gRPC, and protobufs.
Familiarity with mobile SDKs in Swift and Kotlin.

Qualifications

Formal experience or skills in React, JavaScript, or Typescript.
Proven track record of working on complex web applications or SDKs.

Benefits & Perks

Base salary range of $185,000 - $225,000.
