About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, support, and optimization of engineering solutions to reduce complexity and improve system performance, especially in high-throughput, high-transaction environments.
• Use AI tools to drive efficiency in workflows, automating reports, distilling insights, and supporting communications.
• Foster a high-performance culture by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices within the team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and backend engineering, to align front-end development efforts with broader company goals.
• Explore and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance front-end development processes.
• Implement solutions that integrate seamlessly into merchant checkout flows, simplifying integration for partners while maintaining high standards.
• Maintain robust security measures to protect web applications from vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring user data safety and privacy.
• Develop secure, scalable code supporting thousands of concurrent users with high reliability and performance.
• Utilize data and analytics to inform decisions, optimize performance, and measure the impact of features and improvements.
• Participate in quick iterations and troubleshooting in a collaborative environment.
• Engage in a blameless culture focused on continuous improvement through process and technology enhancements.
• Contribute to planning sessions, feature design, and daily stand-ups to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Adapt and respond to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of front-end engineering experience, including 3+ years building robust mobile applications, ideally in React Native.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated use of AI in the performance of your role, with an understanding of how AI enables smarter work.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries including React Native and React.
• Experience working in a monorepo environment (e.g., PNPM, Nx, Turborepo, Bazel), especially where multiple applications or shared packages are managed at scale.
• Proactive with a focus on getting things done, strong attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with front-end build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git).

• Experience with monorepo management tools such as PNPM, Nx, Turborepo, Bazel.
