About the Role

The Factory Associate Project Manager at ABB is responsible for managing internal and external customer care for aftermarket factory orders, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective management of the production order cycle and post-delivery support. This role involves coordinating relevant functions within Electrification Services (ELSE) and leading project teams to deliver value-added services with high quality, exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for internal and external customer care for aftermarket factory orders, including order requirements, tracking, reporting, technical support, order assistance, and payment-related support.
  • Coordinate relevant functions to ensure complete case ownership in Electrification Services (ELSE) and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the project team allocated to each project, monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, and financials.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks, ensuring all opportunities are pursued.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of projects, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Serve as the primary sales channel contact for day-to-day operational aspects of project scope.
  • Lead contract review of new projects and define project scope prior to initiation.
  • Ensure the project team understands contractual requirements and create/execute work plans to meet client needs.
  • Coordinate with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping to ensure timely completion and shipment of orders.
  • Ensure factory orders follow best practices and company policies for successful close-out and on-time delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively with all parties.
  • Track and report on order planning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or an associate's degree with 4 years, or high school diploma with 6 years of experience, or a combination of education and experience in customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and teamwork.
  • Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

  • Knowledge of SAP.
