About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work within the retail divisions to gain an overview of store operations, marketing, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain management, financial analysis, and human resources.
• Participate in job shadowing with store management.
• Complete a designated retail project.
• Work as part of an effective team.
• Demonstrate and role model the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
• Complete special assignments as requested.
• Curate a cumulative retail project and present it to division leadership.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate change and respond to challenges with a positive demeanor.
• Demonstrate initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must have work authorization in the US that does not require future sponsorship of a visa.

Nice to Have

• Involvement in leadership and community activities.
• Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply it to business needs.
• Understanding of a favorable customer shopping experience and associate engagement in customer service.
• Knowledge of how store managers lead teams in planning, implementation, and execution of initiatives.
• Understanding of how store managers develop action plans and communicate with store associates.
• Training at multiple locations including retail stores, distribution, and division offices.
