About the Role

The Field Clinical Specialist at Inari Medical works independently to provide clinical support and education related to Inari products. This role partners with local Account Managers to increase clinical acumen, facilitate training, and support therapy adoption in hospital environments. The position emphasizes patient-first principles, professional growth, and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to Inari products.
  • Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions and in-service education programs in hospital settings.
  • Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with Regional and Account Managers in local geographies.
  • Communicate highly technical information clearly and effectively during fast-paced procedures.
  • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the Company.
  • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
  • Provide education and clinical support in response to complex field inquiries as needed.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all Inari products, related products, and technical knowledge, trends, and players.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on device features and new device development.
  • Document procedural case observations for regulatory requirements and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associates Degree in nursing or clinical required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in medical device clinical capacity or cath lab.
  • Proven understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Strong clinical acumen is required.
  • Understanding of the sales process is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with regular interaction with physicians and hospital staff.
  • Desire to participate in healthcare team and anticipate patient needs.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex clinical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and presentation development.
