Job Description

About the Role

The Field Clinical Specialist works using independent judgement, partners with local Account Managers to increase clinical support and education, and acts as a clinical interface between the medical community and the Company. This role involves providing education, clinical support, and feedback on device features within hospital environments, primarily supporting Inari products in a field-based capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to Inari products.
  • Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions and in-service education programs in hospital environments.
  • Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with Regional and Account Managers in local geographies.
  • Communicate highly technical information clearly and effectively during fast-paced procedures.
  • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise accordingly.
  • Provide education and clinical support in response to complex field inquiries on an as-needed basis.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on device features and new device development.
  • Document procedural case observations for regulatory requirements and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associates Degree in nursing or clinical required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in medical device clinical capacity or cath lab.
  • Proven understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Strong clinical acumen is required.
  • Understanding of sales process is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, both locally and regionally, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with regular interaction with physicians and hospital staff.
  • Desire to participate in healthcare team and anticipate patient needs.
  • Critical thinking skills to solve complex clinical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and developing presentation materials.
