About the Role

This is a temporary position reporting to the Senior Manager, DEX Digital Operations, involving strategic utilization of Adobe's Experience Cloud products to support Marriott's digital objectives. The role focuses on supporting digital experiments, driving Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) efforts, and enhancing user experience on M.com through Adobe Tags, Target, and Analytics. It requires strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement aligned with Marriott's global digital and mobile strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to support digital experiments and CRO initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical architecture
  • Work closely with brand, loyalty, marketing, and technology teams to plan and deploy new capabilities
  • Address and resolve issues related to analytics tracking and Adobe Target test campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
  • Troubleshoot issues regarding Adobe Target test campaigns
  • Support ongoing migration from a page-level data layer-based web page to new page technologies ACDL and Web SDK
  • Design and implement critical components of technology to support Marriott Digital Experiments
  • Track user behavior on web and app through link tracking and page-load data capture
  • Create new data pipelines for transferring data to partners using Adobe's Event-Handling service
  • Deploy interactive, scheduled programs on owned channels and develop/deploy temporary code fixes
  • Collaborate with platform product teams to ensure stable releases and functional alignment
  • Work with marketing and brand teams to deploy new capabilities in an evolving platform
  • Ensure system uptime and resolve outages quickly and effectively
  • Design systems and build campaigns with proper planning and communication
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, critique work professionally, and develop relationships across teams
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and escalate issues when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or equivalent education and training
  • 5+ years of development or IT support experience
  • Experience with Adobe Target, including audience rules and setup
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and SQL
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Tags (formerly Launch), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, and Adobe Target
  • Experience testing cross-browser compatibility and implementing UI/visual designs within ADA and security principles
  • Familiarity with DOM/Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Multimedia Content
  • Proven experience interacting dynamically with the Browser DOM via JavaScript
  • Experience with page-level data layer and proxy tools like Chrome developer tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot scripting issues on digital platforms using browser consoles and other tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting migration to new web technologies such as ACDL and Web SDK
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Knowledge of Adobe Audience rules and setup

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business or IT, or equivalent training
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant development or IT support experience
