About the Role

The position is for a Frontend Developer on a 12+ months contract with likely extension, located in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). The role involves developing scalable modern JavaScript-based web applications, with a focus on eCommerce or mobile software, in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in writing scalable modern JavaScript based web applications.
Need strong experience with React, TypeScript and GraphQL.
Develop and maintain web applications using frameworks such as React, Node.js, Angular, Backbone, or Ember.
Apply strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, functional JavaScript, client-side MVC, and CSS pre-processing frameworks.
Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and optimization techniques.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and understand a wide variety of technical challenges.
Contribute to building scalable eCommerce applications or mobile software.

Requirements

Expert level knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.
Experience with web application frameworks such as React, Node.js, Angular, Backbone, or Ember.
Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, functional JavaScript, client-side MVC, and CSS pre-processing frameworks.
5 years of experience building scalable eCommerce applications or mobile software.
4+ years of experience using JavaScript as an engineering language.
Experience with production-level jQuery.
Ability to thrive in a fun, fast-paced startup environment.
