Key Responsibilities

  • Build new products including orchestration, data observability, lineage, and streaming.
  • Own the Airbyte frontend.
  • Work with a talented team to build a great internal development experience for developers and a great user experience for our users.
  • Define and promote conventions and best practices for the frontend.
  • Write high-leverage code.
  • Mentor other engineers.

Requirements

  • An insatiable desire to ship, relentlessly improving user experience.
  • Expert knowledge of frontend technologies. Our frontend stack is Typescript and React.
  • Willingness to understand, read, and tweak API code to unblock frontend projects.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience working directly with, onboarding, and supporting the users of your products.
  • A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and some experience with other programming languages.
  • Experience with Java and Kotlin in the platform backend.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
