About the Role

As our Full Funnel Marketing Director, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across the customer journey. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a focus on scaling lead generation, improving conversion, and building brand equity. You'll manage campaigns, social media, and vendors while aligning closely with sales, CSRs, and leadership. Best Plumber is a leading plumbing service provider based in Knoxville, TN, known for quality work, responsive service, and strong community roots. As we scale across Knoxville and Chattanooga, we're looking for a Full Funnel Marketing Director who can elevate our lead generation engine, improve campaign performance, grow brand awareness across multiple markets, and develop processes across the funnel.

Key Responsibilities

Build and implement strategies that increase qualified leads from paid, organic, and referral channels.
Align campaigns with top-performing job types (e.g., drains, repipes) and high-value zip codes.
Identify and test new marketing channels to diversify and scale growth.
Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across Google, Meta, Bing, and other platforms.
Improve targeting by geo, keyword, and customer value.
Strengthen tracking and attribution to tie campaigns directly to booked jobs and revenue.
Oversee SEO strategy to drive consistent organic growth (on-page, off-page, technical).
Develop and manage content strategies to engage our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Own social media marketing (organic + paid), including content calendars, giveaways, and community engagement.
Lead strategic brand campaigns (OOH, OTT, streaming audio, grassroots) in Knoxville and Chattanooga.
Collaborate with creatives to build authentic local content.
Manage all external marketing vendors and agency partners, holding them accountable to performance.
Partner with CSRs and service managers to improve right job / right tech booking.
Collaborate with leadership on budget allocation and performance tracking.
Build and maintain a Marketing Scorecard to track KPIs (lead source, conversion, ticket size, ROI).
Provide data-driven insights to guide marketing decisions and optimize spend.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in full-funnel marketing with proven success in demand generation.
Expertise in Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, GSC, and social media advertising.
Strong track record managing vendors, budgets, and marketing teams.
Skilled in SEO, analytics, content strategy, and campaign attribution.
Excellent copywriting, project management, and leadership skills.
Experience in service-based or home services industries a plus.
