Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, extend, and test various OMS module enhancements, including Click and Collect Orders, Home Delivery Orders, Inventory Management, Fulfillment Logic, Appeasement and Customer Satisfaction Workflows, and Return and Exchange Orders.
  • Capability to integrate Fluent Commerce OMS with diverse supply chain solutions ERP, e-commerce, payment and other third-party services.
  • Configure and customize solutions using JSON, REST, and GraphQL APIs to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement software architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices frameworks.
  • Build modern, user-centric interfaces using React.
  • Create and use CI/CD pipeline applications to develop automated deployment and testing strategies which help facilitate the consistency and reliability of the codebase.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, communicate technical challenges, accurately scope and set clear expectations to ensure projects are delivered on time, under budget, and error free.
  • Participate in project planning and architecture by gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, and receiving feedback from business stakeholders.
  • Perform peer code reviews, assist teammates on projects, onboard new employees, and help teammates sharpen their skillsets.
  • Provide proactive support for the production platform, including ad-hoc incident resolution, scheduled deployments, and being on-call during peak periods to maximize business uptime.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of OMS and e-commerce development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce OMS is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in implementing API-first and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and writing secure, reliable, reusable, scalable, and performant code.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience in front-end development with React.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native solutions and platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with big data processing and analytics.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitLab).
  • Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs for system integration.
  • Expertise in order flow, stock management, and inventory control.
  • Experience with payment integration workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with configuring and scaling Fluent Commerce OMS for enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Knowledge of deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent business-facing communication, relationship building, motivational, emotional intelligence, and other interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, analytical, technical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
