If you're looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape, enhance customer experience and improve people's lives, this is the opportunity for you. Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are. Driven by current and future customer needs and expectations, Ford Global Digital is dedicated to delivering a world-class experience for customers across all channels, including online platforms, showrooms, and intermediary touchpoints. We are seeking an experience strategy leader to develop, enhance, and oversee tools and systems designed to enable our dealers to provide an optimal omnichannel purchasing experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing experience requirements for a range of dealer-facing digital tools and collaborating closely with cross functional partners to define and implement foundational elements that deliver an exceptional omnichannel retail experience.
  • Identify and implement dealer-level standards, tools, education, and experience requirements to enable a seamless retail experience from purchase to delivery.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and UX teams to develop and implement user-focused solutions for dealers to enhance sales efficiency and customer experience.

  • Help define metrics and KPIs that ensure our omnichannel system is instrumented correctly to deliver on defined requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for AI integration across the purchase journey to improve dealer efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power BI AI features) to generate insights, automate reporting, and support decision-making.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in OEM or retail automotive, preferably in strategic planning and/or analyst roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing large and diverse datasets, with demonstrated expertise in data storytelling and communicating complex insights clearly to non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
  • Experience working directly with dealers or indirectly through field teams, including basic understanding of dealer sales and service agreements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R and data manipulation and transformation techniques.
  • Expertise in integrating digital and physical eCommerce experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform customer research, analyze third-party studies, gather customer feedback, and extract insights from internal analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects from start to finish with a high degree of independence.
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Core Strategy Skills including: ability to translate complex data and strategic insights into compelling narratives and presentations for executive leadership; ability to synthesize and translate AI outputs into actionable strategy recommendations; ability to create and guide strategy through multiple development phases using human-centered design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in market dynamics, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and driving improvements in business performance.
  • Data analytics skills including: exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
