About the Role

The Global Product Manager for Vascular Medical Devices will be responsible for the Angiographic Catheter product line within the Vascular Division. The role involves developing and communicating the global strategy for the product line, managing its entire lifecycle from inception to obsolescence, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The position offers remote or hybrid work options based in the US or Canada, with responsibilities spanning strategy development, lifecycle management, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders within the Division, Marketing, company Functions, and Operational Units to implement the strategy for assigned product line(s) and ensure consistency in priorities, policies, compliance, processes, structure, and projects.
  • Manage the financial health of product line(s) by setting appropriate pricing thresholds, managing margins and cost improvement opportunities, in collaboration with commercial business and other company teams.
  • Responsible for the availability and efficiency of assigned product line(s) within the total product lifecycle, and contribute to developing product retirement strategies when necessary.
  • Demonstrate and maintain an extensive understanding of relevant market trends, including case volume, the regulatory environment, healthcare economics, and the TPLC.
  • Develop and drive the product pipeline for assigned product line(s).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and establish design input requirements, in collaboration with strategic marketing and R&D.
  • Develop and execute an annual strategy and plan for assigned product line(s) containing drivers, limiters, and enablers.
  • Lead and complete large and complex projects in a timely manner for planned and unplanned product-specific events such as product launches, backorders, and recalls.
  • Meet all deadlines for product-related responsibilities such as business planning and product forecasts.
  • Attend meetings with customers to understand needs, gain feedback, and support overall business.
  • Ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance, and product-specific requirements are met within scope of responsibility.
  • Conduct business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.

Requirements

  • College degree in a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including product management, engineering, sales, and/or marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to travel internationally, domestically, and weekends as needed up to 50%.
  • Work under general office environmental conditions.

  • Advanced degree (Masters or MBA or equivalent) may reduce the years of experience requirement.
