Global Segment Project Leader

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Concurrently oversee multiple highly complex global product innovation and lifecycle management projects from definition through launch and execution following Kenvue's operating model and standards.
• Provide overall project management to a global cross-functional team including R&D, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, Finance, Regional PM, and others to deliver on project goals related to time, cost, and quality.
• Support team members by identifying and resolving execution barriers, raising issues promptly, and engaging decision makers when projects deviate from plan.
• Maintain accurate information and data supporting project and portfolio tracking and reporting to ensure visibility at all organizational levels.
• Lead preparation and delivery of project updates, stage-gate reviews, and recommendations at governance forums, making appropriate Go/No-go decisions and communicating risks and issues.
• Coordinate team meetings and minutes, understand and track critical milestones, establish contingency and acceleration plans, facilitate team decisions, and implement risk management plans.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of business/work experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, with a proven success in managing new product commercialization or lifecycle management projects from ideation through benefit realization.
• Ability to interact across all organizational levels, lead discussions, and hold teams accountable without line authority.
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear analysis and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Strong business and financial competence, understanding financial principles and project evaluation methods.
• Proven track record as an inclusive team leader who inspires results through trust and empowerment.
• Ability to thrive with ambiguity, act as a change agent, and adapt quickly to changing business dynamics.
• Ability to work independently without direct line management authority.
• Accountability, strong time management, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with challenging the status quo and improving processes.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree or MBA or other advanced degree.
• PMP certification and/or other industry and project management certification.
• Experience working in the consumer goods industry.
• Experience in a GMP or regulated environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC).
• Experience in Process Excellence / 6 Sigma methodologies.
