About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads large projects or portions of very complex projects and coordinates the work activities of the project team.
• Demonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management and has expertise in two areas.
• Oversees development of the complete project plan and manages project phases.
• Establishes, tracks, and audits project budgets, analyzes variances, and develops action plans as required.
• Represents the organization on projects and may perform in a project leadership role.
• Ensures the accomplishment of project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget.
• Manages the three constraints of quality, cost, and time effectively.
• Communicates directly with the customer's organization and relevant senior stakeholders through project reviews.
• Allocates necessary resources to meet project objectives, financial goals, and customer satisfaction.
• Involved in recruitment and management of project staff, including reporting, administration, and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of project/program management or similar business experience, or 4+ years of project/program management or similar experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer sponsorship not available).
• Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, or IT Networks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• PM Masters Certificate a plus; PMP highly desired; PMP and/or CAPM certification preferred.
• Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
• Understanding of local public safety customers such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.
• Self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of project/program management experience or 4+ years of relevant experience
