About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads large projects or portions of very complex projects and directs and coordinates the work activities of the project team.
• Demonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management and has expertise in two areas.
• Oversees development of the complete project plan and manages project phases.
• Establishes, tracks, and audits project budgets, analyzes variances, and develops action plans as required.
• Represents the organization on projects and may perform in a project leadership role.
• Ensures the accomplishment of project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget.
• Manages the three constraints of quality, cost, and time for every project.
• Communicates directly with the customer's organization and relevant senior stakeholders through project reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
• Involved in recruitment and management of project staff, including project reporting, administration, and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of project/program management or similar business experience.
• OR 4+ years of project/program management or similar business experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer work permit sponsorship is not available).
• Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, or IT Networks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• PM Masters Certificate a plus; PMP highly desired; PMP and/or CAPM certifications preferred.
• Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
• Understanding of local public safety customers such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.
• Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• PM Masters Certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of project/program management experience.
