About the Role

SMG is hiring a Go-to-Market Enablement Specialist to be responsible for connecting product and marketing to sales, client success, and other teams to ensure the organization is informed of and can speak to SMG's products and positioning. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer-facing roles are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to help clients succeed and support company growth. SMG is a leading experience management provider serving restaurants, retailers, and multi-location consumer businesses, with a rich 30-year history of pairing enterprise software with professional services to generate revenue, reduce detractors, and drive operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of enablement programs that align with go-to-market strategies, including scheduling, organization of materials, and presenting when needed.
  • Equip sales and client success teams with the necessary tools, content, and messaging to effectively engage prospects and clients.
  • Create and update go-to-market content such as PowerPoint presentations, GTM playbooks, solution overviews, videos, user documentation, FAQ documents, and emails.
  • Support internal and external communications around product go-to-market activities by drafting and managing emails, platform announcements, and content for SharePoint and websites.
  • Organize and polish slides for RFPs, applying brand standards as required, and update product and positioning materials as features and messaging evolve.
  • Help manage demo collaboration communities and other tools and materials.
  • Track enablement success across the organization and recommend improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to understand and teach others about technical concepts in a benefits-forward fashion.
  • Willing to be agile and cross-functional.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Degree in marketing or communications.

  • Degree in marketing or communications (preferred).
