About the Role

A Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager at Wintrust plays a pivotal role in designing, executing, and optimizing go-to-market strategies, with a strong focus on a specific line of business. They work cross-functionally with teams across marketing, product, operations, sales, IT, and more to build scalable GTM processes and campaigns. This role is ideal for a strategic marketer with strong executional and operational skills, contributing to the company's growth and customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage line of business marketing requests to interpret and clarify objectives, translate objectives into marketing tactics, and oversee execution from start to finish.
  • Proactively develop and launch GTM initiatives, including messaging, positioning, planning, and performance tracking.
  • Keep the customer at the center of everything we do and optimize the client experience across channels and touchpoints.
  • Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders and become the marketing expert within the group to analyze objectives and provide marketing recommendations.
  • Lead regular planning cadences, reviews, and checkpoints to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources.
  • Manage budget and provide timely and accurate estimates, ensuring all approved spend is tracked and reported.
  • Prepare clear and concise strategic marketing briefs that outline measurable objectives, tactics, and messaging.
  • Develop and manage group-specific marketing initiatives on an annual basis that align with group goals.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Analyze and present campaign results with recommended optimizations, partnering with analytics teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of in-house marketing or agency experience.
  • Proven expertise in building and executing integrated, holistic marketing plans and identifying market opportunities.
  • Experience in writing creative briefs and annual marketing plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of evaluating campaign reporting and testing/optimization processes.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mindset with creativity.
  • Experience working in project management software (such as Workfront) is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, etc.
