About the Role

Minuteman Press, a print, marketing, and design company in Wilton Manors/Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Graphic Designer / Print Production Representative. This position involves assisting customers with their print, promotional, and design projects through various communication channels, performing graphic design, submitting files to vendors, and working with digital printing and bindery. The role requires providing exemplary customer service, building relationships, and working as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers via telephone, email, and in-person with their print, promotional, and design projects.
Perform graphic design tasks using Adobe Suite (Illustrator and InDesign).
Submit files to vendors and deal directly with customers.
Operate digital print equipment, including file setup, color calibration, and imposition.
Check fonts, links, bleeds, crops, and other file-related issues.
Provide excellent customer service, build relationships, and use consultative selling.
Work both independently and as a member of a team from concept to completion.

Requirements

Experience with Graphic Design, specifically Adobe Cloud (Illustrator and InDesign).
Understanding, setup, and operation of digital print equipment.
File setup for printing, including color calibration and imposition.
Ability to check fonts, links, bleeds, crops, and other file-related issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work both independently and as part of a team.
