The internship at KMOV offers students an immersive, hands-on experience in broadcast media, with opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in a rotational internship across departments such as News, Great Day St. Louis, Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Sports, Weather, and Engineering.
Assist team members with daily tasks and projects relevant to the department assigned.
Gain practical experience in broadcast and digital media operations.
Contribute as a valued team member to the award-winning KMOV news and production teams.
Learn about broadcast expertise through direct involvement and mentorship from professionals.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably as a Junior or Senior.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Earning a degree in Journalism, Communications, News, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
Interest in gaining hands-on experience in broadcasting and digital media.
Preference given to students who have completed related coursework.

Nice to Have

Experience or coursework related to journalism, communications, or digital media.
Interest in departments such as Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Sports, Weather, News Production, News MMJ, or Engineering.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a college or university, preferably as a Junior or Senior.
Interest in broadcast and digital media fields.
Related coursework in journalism, communications, or similar areas.
