About the Role

The Growth Consultant will focus on acquisition consulting for third-party developers, driving the growth of their titles on the platform (Client Quest). The role involves developing and executing growth strategies for user acquisition, activation, and early retention, working cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams. This position is remote within the US, with a preference for PST hours, and is offered as a 12-month contract with potential extension. BCForward is a Black-owned firm supporting digital product delivery and workforce management, emphasizing a culture of human potential, diversity, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for user acquisition, early engagement, and retention.
  • Design targeted marketing campaigns, influencer programs, and referral programs for player acquisition.
  • Leverage user-generated content (UGC) and creator economy features as engines for retention.
  • Identify and amplify VR's 'experiential virality' and shareable 'wow moments.'
  • Tailor content and messaging based on audience segments within the VR/gaming ecosystem.
  • Track and optimize key metrics (LTV, CAC, Day 1/7/30 retention, etc.).
  • Lead A/B testing and rapid growth experimentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to launch and measure growth campaigns.
  • Build and document a scalable playbook for the broader developer community.
  • Monitor VR market trends, new technologies, and competitor activities for new growth opportunities.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and data-driven iteration within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in growth marketing, product management, or user acquisition (SaaS products or gaming preferred).
  • Track record of measurable wins in growing products or communities.
  • Hands-on experience with analytics platforms, A/B testing, and behavioral tracking tools.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills to devise and execute innovative growth strategies.
  • Expertise in social growth hacking, content-driven marketing, and community campaigns.
  • Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and similar platforms.
  • Proven experience influencing cross-functional and external partners.
  • Deep understanding of user engagement, community motivation, and creator incentives.
  • Results-oriented with a history of impactful campaigns and data-backed outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mobile app growth.
  • Proven track record as a project owner and executor.
  • Portfolio of past work (preferred, if available).
