Head of Content, Storytelling & Syndication

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Produce, edit, and publish short-form video content optimized for each platform (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Develop scalable content pipelines with AI tools (think: Descript, Runway, OpusClip, MidJourney, Blaze AI, etc.)
• Build and manage a roster of micro-influencers and clippers to amplify output
• Experiment relentlessly with hooks, formats, and storytelling to drive engagement and growth
• Track performance metrics and continuously optimize for reach, watch time, and conversion
• Collaborate closely with product, growth, and community teams to turn real Firesale moments into content

Requirements

• Hands-on creator who can shoot, edit, and publish — but also build systems for scale
• Deep familiarity with the latest AI content creation stack (video editing, clipping, auto-captioning, AI avatars, etc.)
• Strong taste and instinct for what goes viral, with a track record of growing accounts/channels
• Experience managing influencers, UGC creators, or content teams
• Data-driven and scrappy — you care about results, not vanity metrics

Nice to Have

• Experience with TikTok, Reels, Shorts, memes, and trends
• Ability to develop and execute content strategies at scale
• Experience with AI tools like Descript, Runway, MidJourney, Blaze AI, etc.

Qualifications

• Social media management experience (3-5 years)
• Social media advertising experience
• Largest social media audience managed (1,000-500,000 followers depending on level)
