About the Role

The Head of Digital Marketing Strategy will own developing and leading an end-to-end digital strategy for Philips Health System Businesses globally. This role involves partnering with marketing leaders across all business units to develop a future-oriented digital strategy that drives business growth and customer impact. The position is part of a pivotal transformation journey within the company, emphasizing innovation, market differentiation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a comprehensive end-to-end digital strategy and roadmap to evolve capabilities and grow the global digital order book by delivering on business and customer impact goals.
  • Works closely with regional and business teams across disciplines to build a holistic strategy, gaining buy-in and alignment for successful implementation.
  • Develops an impact-focused digital marketing technology strategy, leveraging digital platform SMEs to implement and drive this globally, engaging with IT and operational leadership to secure support.
  • Manages deployment resources to ensure high-priority, complex, cross-functional programs are executed on time and achieve intended outcomes.
  • Infuses outside-in thinking, digital trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to drive innovation and differentiation in the digital ecosystem.
  • Delivers the end-to-end digital strategy to the Marketing Leadership Council, gaining buy-in, alignment, and support.
  • Builds and maintains a network of internal stakeholders, advocating and negotiating for support across functions such as Businesses, Regions, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Legal.
  • Owns the development of business cases to support the digital strategy, roadmap, and plan, including digital program costs and ROI analysis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, with a focus on developing and leading digital strategies, preferably within healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or pharma industries.
  • Experience in global and regional digital strategy development, agency experience, and working in a matrixed environment is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of customer decision journeys and digital engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of the marketing technology landscape, including defining requirements and leading teams to develop solutions supporting digital strategies.
  • Experience working in a large global company.
  • Performance-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels, including senior executives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies with high attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving, learning, and educating others.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $176,000 to $282,000 depending on experience and other factors.

  • Additional compensation such as annual incentive bonuses, sales commissions, or long-term incentives may be offered.
