This is a hands-on leadership role in a growing practice, where you will both set strategy and directly execute campaigns, especially in digital, social, and content creation. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement long-term marketing strategies aligned with the practice's growth objectives and patient care mission.
Maintain a strong, recognizable brand identity that differentiates our practice in the refractive surgery market.
Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email, paid advertising, and community outreach.
Drive patient lead generation efforts and improve patient journey engagement through referral program development.
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to foster innovation, accountability, and high performance.
Utilize analytics and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and demonstrate ROI continuously.
Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize impact.
Conduct ongoing market research, split-tests, and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and patient needs.
Work closely with surgeons, clinical staff, and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts align with patient services and goals.
Oversee relationships with external marketing agencies, consultants, and vendors.
Leverage CRM (Salesforce) and AI-driven marketing tools to streamline campaigns and improve patient communication.
Manage sensitive communications and reputation management when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leadership, referral partners, and community organizations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in healthcare marketing, ideally in ophthalmology, refractive surgery, or elective medical fields.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing strategies.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
Expertise in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-end environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and resilience.
Demonstrated success managing budgets and vendor relationships.
