Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute a comprehensive growth-focused marketing strategy to drive revenue, customer acquisition, and brand recognition across digital and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) and marketing team to shape and execute branding strategy, ensuring alignment across visual identity, tone, and photographic style.
  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability to pivot strategy based on real-time data and changing business priorities.
  • Manage internal marketing resources and external freelancers/agencies, balancing speed, quality, and return on investment.
  • Own omnichannel marketing planning and execution, including paid search, paid social, SEO, email/SMS, retargeting, marketplaces, and affiliate programs.
  • Oversee the e-commerce experience and partner on conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and UX/UI enhancements.
  • Apply understanding of customer segmentation to support targeted marketing efforts and lifecycle strategies.
  • Advise on marketing tech stack decisions, including automation, segmentation, and personalization tools.
  • Leverage data platforms and analytics to inform decision-making, monitor KPIs, attribution data, and customer insights.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on marketing performance, growth opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with e-commerce, customer success, finance, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with strategic initiatives and product launches.

Requirements

  • Successfully led and scaled e-commerce marketing strategies that drove measurable growth in revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition.
  • Ability to build and manage high-performing marketing teams, with experience coaching and mentoring others.
  • Experience managing multiple projects across channels and departments, including timelines, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing campaigns including paid search, paid social, email/SMS, retargeting, SEO, affiliate, and marketplaces.
  • Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, landing page optimization, and UX improvements.
  • Proficiency with e-commerce platforms such as Adobe, Shopify, WooCommerce.
  • Ability to analyze marketing KPIs using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Klaviyo, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
  • Hands-on knowledge of marketing tech stack tools like Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and lead teams through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with subscription-based, replenishment, or bundling models requiring lifecycle and retention marketing strategies.
  • Exposure to regulated industries such as chemicals, medical, or lab supplies with understanding of compliance in messaging and advertising.
  • Creative sensibility and experience guiding brand look/feel through photography, design, or visual campaigns.
