We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Leader to join our team, focusing primarily on our regional product landscape in Europe. The ideal candidate will be a product owner for the European markets, providing valuable insights from the regional perspective and building product strategy across multiple product lines to help grow our business and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the localisation strategy for Trip.com products in target markets, focused on user experience localisation, cultural and compliance adaptation, payment methods, and integration of local services.
  • Establish a feedback loop or product discovery framework for analysing local user behaviour and regularly deliver insight reports to headquarters to drive global product iterations.
  • Analyse local user behaviour data (such as conversion funnels, retention rates) and user feedback data (such as NPS, customer service tickets), monitor competitor dynamics and local industry trends, identify experience bottlenecks, and propose optimisation solutions.
  • Coordinate local user research, competitor analysis, and user analysis based on projects initiated by headquarters to ensure global products align with local needs.
  • Work closely with headquarters' product, design, and technology teams to balance global uniformity with local flexibility.
  • Evaluate the priority of the impact scope for requirements and align goals with other teams.
  • Coordinate headquarters resources to expedite the launch of localised feature requirements.
  • Manage the regional product growth managers, product designers and set team objectives.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and prioritisation among related teams.
  • Build a strong regional product team by hiring and developing talents in the region with product management backgrounds.
  • Develop matrix organisation that covers both product lines and local markets product-related topics.

Requirements

  • Brings 8+ years of experience in product management or a related field, including 5+ years in people and team leadership roles such as Group Product Manager or Product Director, ideally within high-performing B2C tech companies or Travel OTA platforms.
  • Proven track record in driving product strategy, unlocking growth, improving user experience, and identifying scalable growth loops through data in competitive or mature markets.
  • Deep understanding of the EU market landscape, particularly in key countries like the UK, Germany, and France, with strong knowledge of user behavior, business models, and travel industry nuances.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root issues, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive change and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, and business teams in multicultural environments and across time zones.
  • High sense of ownership, strong executional drive, and a proactive, hands-on mindset to make things happen in complex or ambiguous settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with professional fluency in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
  • Deeply user-centric, with a clear passion for building world-class digital products tailored to local user needs, and a willingness to travel moderately within Europe and to Asia.
