Healthcare Analytics Summer Intern - Start Date: May 18, 2026

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Gain valuable knowledge on top health industry trends and integrated data analytics
• Conduct research and present findings
• Perform data analysis and reporting
• Lead 2-3 key projects as assigned by department
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the product analytics department
• Analyze health services utilization trends among populations with specific conditions
• Develop dashboards that provide strategic insights for internal stakeholders
• Research emerging hot topics to support ideation and brainstorming
• Analyze drivers of medical spend using statistical techniques and recommend actions to mitigate cost increases

Requirements

• Rising senior working towards a bachelor's degree
• Preferred majors include Biomedical Informatics, Health Information, Business, Analytics, Public Health or related field
• Experience with prior database skills is preferred
• Proficiency with SQL and SAS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong business aptitude and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter who is eager to learn and acquire new skills
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience with database skills
• Proficiency with SQL and SAS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
