About the Role

As a Consumer Insights Intern, you will play a key role in helping our marketing and innovation teams understand consumer behavior, preferences, and trends. You'll work on real business challenges, support research initiatives, and help translate data into actionable insights that drive brand growth and product development. This internship offers hands-on experience within a leading CPG company, exposure to strategic decision-making, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that impact real brands and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects (e.g., surveys, focus groups, ethnographies).
  • Analyze syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Mintel) to identify category and consumer trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Innovation, Analytics, R D, and Sales.
  • Help prepare and present presentations and reports that communicate insights clearly and persuasively.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategic planning meetings.

Requirements

  • Must graduate in August 2026, December 2026, or May 2027 and major in Food Marketing, Marketing, Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Data Analytics, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
  • Possesses strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and persuasive skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
  • Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of meat products, specifically pork, beef, and chicken.
  • This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Qualifications

  • Major in Food Marketing, Marketing, Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
