About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Works with appropriate customers to identify and coordinate new system developments and/or enhancements.
• Works with appropriate customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks.
• Assigns, schedules, reviews, and monitors and controls project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
• Mentors and provides expertise to other project team members.
• Works with appropriate customers to identify the roles of management, departments, project team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction and any training requirements that may be needed for a team member to complete a project.
• Develops project management artifacts, such as RACIs and Project Plans/Task Lists.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) years of experience in a project management role.
• OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, information systems, business administration or another related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in a project management role.

Nice to Have

• 3 year's experience in healthcare/patient care environment
• Project Management Certification (PMP)
