Job Description

About the Role

The OSINT Analyst at General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) is responsible for leveraging proprietary tools, technology, and data to build compelling intelligence related to activities, threats, and trends. The role involves providing actionable intelligence products to stakeholders, developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, and serving as a liaison between users and developers to improve workflows and requirements. The position supports the organization’s mission to process and analyze large-scale data for situational awareness and decision-making across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of information from multiple sources, including open and scholarly resources
  • Identify, track, and assess threats to the organization or its assets
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant geopolitical, economic, and social developments to identify emerging issues and trends
  • Collaborate with other analysts and subject matter experts to develop and refine analytical methodologies and tools
  • Produce intelligence products, including vignettes, briefings, reports, and assessments, for internal and external audiences
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in the field of intelligence analysis
  • Support the development and implementation of GA workflows and procedures related to intelligence analysis
  • Use GA (and other) data analysis tools and techniques to mine data and identify patterns and trends
  • Work with the GA portfolio leadership to share vision for the product, landscape, and growth plans
  • Exercise excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, responsibly gather, maintain, and report on classified information related to counterterrorism, insurgency, cyber, and other threats to National Security

Requirements

  • Expertise in intelligence analysis, including research and assessment of threats and trends
  • Ability to use data analysis tools and techniques to mine data and identify patterns
  • Strong judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with classified information and subjects such as counterterrorism, insurgency, cyber threats, and national security
  • Knowledge of geopolitical, economic, and social developments relevant to intelligence analysis
  • Ability to develop and refine analytical methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication skills for producing reports, briefings, and assessments
  • Ability to collaborate with analysts, subject matter experts, and stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with open-source and scholarly research resources
  • Familiarity with intelligence workflows and procedures
  • Experience working with large-scale streaming data and situational awareness platforms
