About the Role

As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll work with data, recognizing patterns, and contribute to actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with data professionals, gaining valuable insights into the design and implementation of data assets that serve both business and analytics needs, while playing a vital role in product success and machine learning advancements. The work at Autodesk touches nearly every person on the planet, creating software for buildings, machines, movies, and more, empowering creative problem-solving across various industries. Interns are placed into multiple teams that influence business decisions, with a focus on meaningful projects, mentorship, and professional development within a flexible workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve business decisions or operational efficiency
Translate business needs into functional data requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and clear communication of data insights
Develop and present data stories through visualizations, summaries, and presentations to provide unbiased, actionable intelligence to key stakeholders

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2027, with a focus in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
Proficiency in SQL or other programming languages for data analysis
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Prior experience with pivot tables and data modeling
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to communicate data insights through storytelling

Nice to Have

Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Experience with scripting/statistical languages such as R, Python or equivalent
Experience setting up automated reporting pipeline and ETL process

Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree program with an expected graduation date in 2027
Focus in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
