About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with community relations events and providing support for booth setup at fairs, festivals, and health screenings
• Answering calls and relaying messages
• Performing clerical duties as needed
• Supporting social media management, content creation, and light design work
• Updating website content and managing basic site updates using a CMS
• Participating in event activities and community outreach efforts

Requirements

• Must be working on a Baccalaureate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Health Promotions, Communications, or a related area
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms
• Dependability, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are valued
• Willingness to learn
• Experience or interest in social media content creation and scheduling
• Familiarity with computer programs such as Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools or SEO best practices is preferred
• Photography or basic video editing skills are a plus
• Physical ability to perform close eye work, hearing within the normal range, and to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to use standard office equipment and media equipment as needed

• Experience or interest in storytelling and copywriting
• Experience with website content updates and basic site management (using a CMS)
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools or SEO best practices
