Job Description

About the Role

The Intranet Content Specialist will support the launch and management of a new intranet platform by creating and migrating content, advising on site design, and ensuring usability. This role involves working closely with Communications & Marketing and various business units to facilitate a smooth transition to the new CMS, Staffbase, in a remote contract capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with business unit site owners and contributors to identify and migrate relevant content from the current intranet to the new platform.
  • Advise stakeholders on optimal site structure and layout options to improve user experience.
  • Assist with building and formatting pages in Staffbase to ensure consistency and usability.
  • Work closely with Communications & Marketing and other business unit team members to deliver a smooth transition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of related professional experience.
  • At least 1 year of communications experience writing for the web.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems, with Staffbase strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional experience in web content management and communications.
