About the Role

The Invoice Analyst role involves transforming and streamlining the company's Time and Materials tracking and invoicing processes through data analysis and automation. The position requires applying data skills to operational problems, building solutions that improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency, and collaborating with various departments to implement automated systems. Key Responsibilities

Analyze the current workflow (labor hours, material usage, billing inputs)
Design and implement an automated tracking and invoicing system using data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate)
Create dashboards and reporting for project managers, finance, and leadership
Collaborate with operations, finance, and IT to understand needs and integrate tools
Document and train users on the new automated processes and systems

Requirements

Degree in Data Science, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related field (graduated within the past 1-2 years)
Proficiency in Excel, data cleaning, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier)
Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical users and gather business requirements

Nice to Have

Experience with time-tracking or invoicing software
Exposure to ERP systems or financial reporting tools
Familiarity with API integrations or low-code platforms

Qualifications

Graduated within the past 1-2 years in a relevant field
