IT Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures all aspects of project management are carried out efficiently and effectively, including reviewing project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
• Prepares project charts and schedules as needed and performs job cost analysis.
• Maintains a solid customer relationship and assures customer satisfaction with the successful execution of the project.
• Manages and assists in developing and maintaining information technology programs in accordance with approved system/subsystem design requirements and specifications.
• Ensures employees apply expertise on complex work assignments, developing methodologies, offering solutions, and contributing to deliverables and performance metrics.
• Coordinates responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), including creating cost estimates, analyzing specifications, developing quotation plans, and reviewing estimated inputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Implements industry best practices, project management tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment, and property.
• Must have experience managing enterprise IT support projects for the Federal Government.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), CPIC, SDLC, IT Security Management, and Risk Management.
• Experience in Azure, cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. is preferred.
• Experience in IT supporting manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in a Project Management role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Azure, cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
• Experience in IT supporting manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in project management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
