About the Role

The IT Project Manager will be based at the Bismarck Business Center in Bismarck, ND, and will oversee telecommunications and project management activities within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer projects on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they produce the required deliverables of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost.
  • Verify that projects achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for project tasks.
  • Coordinate internal resources, third parties, and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including third parties and vendors.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Identify and assess risks, facilitate resolution to minimize project risks, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health services, life sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or clinical field; master's degree in related fields may be preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge with project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • At least three years of experience managing full life cycle projects.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in telecommunications implementations highly preferred.
  • Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), Project Management Certification (PMP), or equivalent advanced training in project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Bachelor's degree may need to be in health services, life sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or clinical field depending on department needs.
  • Master's degree in public health, health care, business, or science related fields may be preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office.
