About the Role

The IT Project Manager at MIT Credit Union (MITFCU) will lead the design, testing, planning, and implementation of moderately complex technical projects. The role involves working directly with MITFCU leadership and sub-project leaders to coordinate, drive, and track initiatives that support the Credit Union's strategic objectives. Projects span all business units and require close monitoring and frequent communication to ensure success. The work includes managing projects from conception through to completion, utilizing established tools, methodologies, and philosophies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, testing, planning, and implementation of technical projects of moderate complexity.
Work directly with leadership and sub-project leaders to coordinate, drive, and track various initiatives and projects.
Implement small to large complex projects from conception, scope definition, and schedule management through to project completion.
Monitor project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience with technical project implementations.
Experience managing software projects and implementation development.
Experience delivering cloud implementations including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
Experience or exposure to software and interface APIs.
Ability to communicate information, ideas, and concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
Proven organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Ability to respond proactively to requests and ensure timely completion.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment both onsite and remotely.
Strong aptitude to learn various application environments.
Understanding of the financial services technology environment.
