IT Project Manager (Agile)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 2 to 3 scrum teams delivering enterprise-wide solutions on platforms such as ServiceNow and Splunk, using Agile and traditional project management techniques.
• Derive software development requirements and workflows for the ServiceNow platform and promote code into the production environment.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of enhancements and capabilities.
• Track project progress in ServiceNow, anticipate needs, and facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules using Agile and Waterfall techniques.
• Capture and translate IT requirements into measurable milestones, create project schedules and workflows, and establish project acceptance criteria.
• Manage high visibility projects, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Technical PMs, and Engineers to define milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Elevate concerns to upper management with proposed solutions.
• Work at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing Agile teams following a standard development process, including reporting and briefing burndown charts and Agile artifacts.
• Ability to manage high visibility projects and collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, Technical PMs, and Engineers.
• Proven ability to translate IT requirements into milestones, create project schedules, and establish acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing project schedules using Agile and Waterfall techniques.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.
• 7+ years of IT project management from initiation to closure.
• 7+ years of experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.
• 7+ years of experience with requirements review and tracking.
• 7+ years of experience with management for systems or software delivery programs.
• Experience with program management, Readiness reviews, and Governance boards.
• Experience conducting technical exchange meetings.
• Experience working in Agile team environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with using Confluence and SharePoint.
• TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Project/Technology Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• Experience using ServiceNow SAFe and Agile modules.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to prepare and conduct briefings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to create project documentation.
• Previous leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Project/Technology Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.
