IT Project Manager - Business Process Consultant - 3 month TDY

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead effort and provide project management for the ERP project
• Plan and design complex business solutions and system modifications, and make recommendations to improve and support business activities
• Provide As-is Process Mapping for HR, Finance, and IT operations
• Provide an Analysis of Alternatives for ERP solution(s)
• Conduct deep dives with requirements owners to fully understand and capture requirements
• Engage with the local knowledge management team for as-is solution analysis
• Conduct market research and engage with third party vendors for capability offerings and coordinate capability briefs with the customer
• Prepare draft procurement and implementation plans
• Gather business requirements through techniques such as work sessions and interviews
• Analyze and document complex business requirements and processes; communicate these to development teams and business owners
• Coordinate, facilitate, and lead meetings with clients and SMEs to gather and explore solutions
• Participate in technical reviews, UAT, and inspections to verify project intent
• Create complex test case scenarios for testing and oversee testing of business applications
• Participate in migration activities as needed
• Provide time estimates for project tasks and assist in prioritization

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of demonstrated Project Management or Business Process Consultant experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification
• Must possess DOD 8140 compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)
• US Secret (SSBI) Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI as required
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills (requirements analysis, documentation)
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, etc.
• Experience with COTS processes and tools for ERP and Financial management such as ServiceNow, OpenGov, OneStream, CGI Advantage
• Knowledge and experience with designing and managing SharePoint sites/lists
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a military or government environment
• Experience with NATO or international defense projects
• Additional certifications related to project management or IT

Qualifications

• Educational background: BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5+ years in project management or business process consulting
• Certifications: PMP, ITIL 4 Foundation, DOD 8140 compliant certification
• Security Clearance: US Secret (SSBI) with ability to obtain TS/SCI
