IT Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams through excellent communication and negotiation skills, effectively collaborating with executives and stakeholders to drive consensus and alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables, consistently advocating for the best interests of the organization while maintaining positive relationships.
• Provide strategic guidance and insight to support decision-making through data-driven analysis and knowledge of industry trends, organizational priorities, and technology and architecture trends.
• Drive project management excellence by leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects by managing cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while ensuring projects are aligned with business objectives.
• Foster a team-based strategy and culture by demonstrating strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and championing best practices in project management and execution.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills by effectively balancing multiple priorities and dependencies and managing risks and issues.
• Manage resources effectively, optimizing resource allocation across projects to ensure efficient and effective use of resources while delivering maximum value to the organization.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by identifying and resolving critical issues, leveraging professional and technical expertise to implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or 5+ years' experience in IT (infrastructure, networking, SDLC, etc.).
• 8-11 years' experience as a Project Manager or similar role, with a successful track record of delivering complex software projects in a SaaS environment.
• Technical and business familiarity with financial systems (D365), CRM (Salesforce), enterprise data warehouse (Azure Data Lake).
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, including SAFe, Scrum, LPM, and DevOps.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts across all organizational levels.
• Ability to adapt work schedule to work with multiple time zones as needed.
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans and reporting status to senior leaders.
• Experience managing complex projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale system architecture.
• Experience with Merger Acquisition IT integrations.
• Ability to leverage a customer-centric lens to represent customer needs and preferences.
• Out-of-the-box thinker and results-driven problem solver.
• Continuous learning approach, including asking relevant questions and incorporating feedback.
• Experience with JIRA, PowerBI, DevOps.
• Preferred certifications include: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM.
• Agile coach experience is a plus.

Qualifications
