Job Description

About the Role

The Project Manager will report into Enterprise Performance and directly to the Executive Director. This role will lead and facilitate projects of moderate size and scope aimed at improving the Networks' delivery of care, business, and operational processes. The position requires managing budgets and staff, supporting organizational change, and working closely with Network executive sponsors to define, plan, execute, and manage projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in support of the organization's strategic plan, including sponsor and stakeholder management, business, clinical, and operational process development.
  • Work closely with the executive sponsor to lead cross-functional teams to define, manage, and execute projects, including project managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, and development resources.
  • Develop and drive cross-organization collaboration, user engagement, identify trade-offs, and work across departments to balance tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document all meetings, ensuring objectives are achieved and follow-up actions are noted.
  • Determine and document all stakeholders in project RACI charts or organizational charts.
  • Manage and document project scope, requirements, budget, and schedule, and build consensus with stakeholders and resources.
  • Identify resource needs, communicate with resource managers, and adjust resourcing as needed.
  • Address stakeholder and resource concerns as issues or risks, and report project status regularly.
  • Oversee quality objectives, all communications, sign-offs, and changes to scope, schedule, or budget in accordance with the EPMO Change Management process.
  • Capture lessons learned and review previous lessons when starting new projects.
  • Recognize when corrective action is needed and escalate appropriately.
  • Communicate barriers to progress and perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Partner with the Enterprise to optimize business performance and evaluate project outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentoring and education to develop project management skills across the Enterprise.
  • Ensure consistent application of Project Management Methodologies and support project activities aligned with metrics.
  • Foster a service-oriented teamwork environment and demonstrate high integrity, professionalism, and communication skills.
  • Administer activities related to enterprise projects, manage budgets, and facilitate resolution of billing disputes.
  • Prepare monthly status reports and ensure the financial health of projects.
  • Support enterprise strategic initiatives through cost-benefit analysis, feasibility assessments, and alignment to strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, support EPMO procedures, and support stakeholder satisfaction and benefits realization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience managing projects, with at least two (2) years supporting multi-site healthcare project management delivery processes.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including coordinating with internal and external resources.
  • Experience leading projects of moderate size, budgets, and resources.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage scope, requirements, schedule, and budget effectively.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial oversight experience, including managing budgets and resolving billing disputes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise investment planning, cost-benefit analysis, and project feasibility assessment.
  • Support and education in project management principles and methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with EPMO procedures and best practices.
