Junior Digital Designer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create on-brand digital creative including but not limited to email campaigns, paid media ads, website content
• Mock-up and resize content on the website including but not limited to homepages, landing pages, product pages, checkout pages, and the navigation
• Work alongside the Creative team to help define, maintain visual brand identity
• Ensure consistency in post-production images and videos for online use
• Supply images to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
• Manage and organize all media assets delivered from Creative Team each season
• Collaborate regularly with the team on brand strategy and projects

Requirements

• A sincere passion for digital design and brand building
• Have a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for impactful aesthetic
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills
• Team player, comfortable and gracious working with internal and external teams
• Ability to take initiative on elevating projects
• Dependability and thoroughness in work execution
• Ability to meet varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio demonstrating a range in design, techniques, and skills
• Highly organized with a knack for project management
• Must be available to work on-site in the NYC office for a minimum of two days a week, with additional days as needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with animation skills; After Effects or similar programs
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Figma or Sketch
• Proficiency in Task Management systems such as Trello, Asana, Air Table
• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design
