Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join our Legacy Tankers KC-135 team in Oklahoma City, OK. The KC-135 program supports sustainment and modernization of aerial refueling tanker aircraft (C/KC-135) and Special Mission KC-135 variants. The individual will provide project and proposal management support, act as a key customer and supplier contact on complex KC-135 Spare and Repair Parts Proposals and Contracts, and interface with internal cross-functional and technical teams for cost, schedule, and technical planning, risk management, and proposal process leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Performs studies, analyses (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plans and ensures all project control systems are in place to support ongoing stakeholder support.

Requirements

Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills.
Experience with Boeing, DoD and/or USAF proposal process.
Experience preparing and presenting complex data to senior leaders.
Experience working with DoD, USAF or military customers.

Nice to Have

Experience working in an aircraft sustainment environment.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, including interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance.
Export control compliance as a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
