Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join our Legacy Tankers KC-135 team in Oklahoma City, OK. The KC-135 program supports sustainment and modernization of aerial refueling tanker aircraft (C/KC-135) and Special Mission KC-135 variants. The individual will provide project and proposal management support, act as a key customer and supplier contact on complex KC-135 Spare and Repair Parts Proposals and Contracts, and interface with internal cross-functional and technical teams for cost, schedule, and technical planning, risk management, and proposal process leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analyses (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plans and ensures all project control systems are in place to support ongoing stakeholder support.

Requirements

  • Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills.
  • Experience with Boeing, DoD and/or USAF proposal process.
  • Experience preparing and presenting complex data to senior leaders.
  • Experience working with DoD, USAF or military customers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in an aircraft sustainment environment.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, including interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance.
  • Export control compliance as a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
