Lead Analytics & Insights Associate

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Establish strong working relationships and active communication with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage expectations.
• Perform advanced analyses, synthesize data, develop initial findings, and craft recommended strategies in support of strategic and business planning processes as well as executive decision-making.
• Demonstrate proficiency—or a willingness to learn—in all departmental data platforms (e.g., Vizient/Sg2, state data, Strata, Buxton), and apply appropriate tools based on project needs.
• Identify data requirements and define the approach for data collection specific to each assignment.
• Leverage understanding of competitive factors and Vizient differentiators into analysis and synthesize insights.
• Use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform key executive decisions, contributing to deliverables such as market share analyses, market scans, ad hoc intelligence/sizing, and service line growth assessments.
• Support system-wide strategic planning initiatives, including service line growth strategies, ambulatory network development, facility planning, and overall system-level strategic planning.
• Develop subject matter expertise in healthcare market trends and planning methodologies, proactively sharing relevant updates and insights.
• Leverage advanced data visualization tools to create visual stories, manage data analysis tools, develop and present insights, plan and implement data strategies, and oversee medium to large scale projects.
• Participate in team meetings and departmental committees as requested.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Suite required.
• Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI or Tableau highly preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy.
• Broad knowledge of Vizient/Sg2 portfolio of products and services is highly preferred.
• Healthcare experience highly preferred.

• Competitive salary range of $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.
