About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant as part of the Strategic Analytics team for Auto Operations. In this role, you will develop business strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives to support growth, profitability, and competitive success in a shifting consumer and regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success in a shifting consumer and regulatory landscape
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills based on analytics
  • Conceptual thinking skills complemented by a strong quantitative orientation
  • Experience leading or working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in financial and/or Auto Financial Services
  • 2+ years of experience with SAS, SQL, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to senior leaders and gaining stakeholder buy-in

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field (preferred but not required)
