Key Responsibilities

  • Perform discovery on target prospects and identify new business opportunities for the sales team.
  • Qualify new prospects primarily by phone, email campaigns, social media, and attending industry events.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through targeted research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Engage potential clients via email, phone calls, attending industry events, and social media to effectively introduce our fintech products and services.
  • Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our target market.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our fintech solutions to communicate benefits and features effectively to prospects.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and share insights from client interactions.
  • Track and manage sales leads through the CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and advance them through the sales funnel.
  • Provide feedback from clients and prospects to help refine our products, services, and sales strategies.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, including lead conversion rates and monthly outreach goals, while continuously improving personal and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position at a capital markets firm or at a software solutions provider servicing the buy-side market.
  • Understanding of capital markets, investment operations, and portfolio management systems via studies or first professional experience.
  • Ability to make high volume of phone calls and sell ideas and concepts that lead to prospect/client engagements.
  • Knowledge of phone, email, and conversation techniques needed to identify the person responsible for specific initiatives or business units.
  • Excellent business writing, communication, and MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Excellent research skills using online channels such as corporate websites and LinkedIn to identify target stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining client/prospect data in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.
  • Availability to come into the office 2 times/week as per hybrid policy.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SimCorp products and services is a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience (3-5 years) in a similar role.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range for New York City: $70,000 to $100,000 USD.
