The role of Lead Content Strategist involves supporting the Content Marketing team in refreshing and implementing the organic social content strategy to increase followers, engagement, and build the brand's social presence into a driver of business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a social strategy playbook for GoodRx.
  • Lead the refresh of the GoodRx organic social strategy, including channel mapping, content recommendations, audience profiling, tracking, optimization, and social-first campaign development.
  • Oversee and execute the publishing of organic social content across all platforms, ensuring alignment with campaign calendars, brand voice, and creative guidelines.
  • Bring the updated GoodRx brand strategy to life in a consistent, compelling, and consumer-first manner across all organic social channels.
  • Operationalize social media content creation to make the content more streamlined and effective.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to build new content modules and social-first content campaigns.
  • Maintain and evolve the organic social editorial calendar to coordinate content planning, scheduling, and timely delivery across channels.
  • Build a strategic approach for increasing followers and engagement to drive intent and trial of GoodRx offerings.
  • Expand share of voice and cultural relevance to elevate brand perception and presence.
  • Build a comprehensive social media dashboard for ongoing learnings and content optimization.
  • Work with Community Engagement, PR, Editorial, and Marketing teams to develop social content that meets business objectives.
  • Develop a roster of external partners and vendors, including creative agencies and contractors, to support social content and engagement.

Requirements

  • BS degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of social media strategy experience, ideally at both an agency and a brand.
  • Solid understanding of how organic social can achieve business objectives while creating engagement and buzz.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
  • Optimism, excitement for work, and a passion for business impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading social strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Experience on both agency and brand sides of social media marketing.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
