About the Role

Lead Product Developer at Kimberly-Clark, responsible for overseeing the development of products for Huggies Baby Wipes within Development & Commercialization programs. The role involves innovation, renovation of existing products, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product activities, from prototype to commercial launch. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of products for Huggies Baby Wipes for Development & Commercialization (D&C) IMF programs, including innovation of new products and renovation of existing ones.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Product, Engineering, Materials, Global Wipes Product Stewardship, Marketing, Quality, and Manufacturing to drive product activities.
  • Identify and commercialize product renovation and innovation to meet consumer and business needs within the Huggies Wipes business.
  • Seek and understand competitive technologies and innovation.
  • Provide leadership within a team environment to drive innovation from initial product prototype through commercial launch.
  • Create BVs and claims from pilot-scale demonstration.
  • Collaborate broadly inside the organization with R&D, pilot plant, mill operations, and cross-functional disciplines.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 3+ years relevant product and/or engineering experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills to discuss technical issues in a business environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in product and/or material development of consumer products, design of experiments, and data analysis.
  • Experience with specification management, design management, PLM, LabVantage, and other systems for product development.
  • Ability to work independently or lead small teams to complete assignments.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust cross-functionally.
  • Desire and awareness to seek and understand competitive technologies and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced engineering or relevant scientific discipline degree.
  • A minimum of 3+ years relevant product and/or engineering experience.
